During the COVID-19 pandemic, our Buddhist community mobilized to provide essential support to healthcare workers, vulnerable populations, and affected families across New York.
Donation efforts included providing PPE to hospitals, delivering meals to elderly community members, offering financial assistance to families in need, and supporting essential workers.
These initiatives were coordinated through our network of temples and volunteer groups, demonstrating the Buddhist values of compassion and service during times of crisis.
The pandemic response strengthened our community bonds and established new partnerships with other local organizations working toward the common good.
